If India has to innovate, young minds with novel ideas need to be nurtured and professionally mentored. They should be provided with an environment to completely de-risk their innovative research along with all the components of an innovation ecosystem. E-YUVA programme (formerly University Innovation Cluster) is an initiative by Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC), a Government of India enterprise to provide such an environment.

E-YUVA Centre at TNAU (TNAU- EYC) (formerly University Innovation Cluster – UIC) was established in the year 2014 with the financial support of BIRAC. TNAU is one among the five prestigious institutions in the country selected for such unique activity for the first time in the Indian history.E-YUVA joins hands with other Colleges, Universities, Research Institutes and Industries in the region to promote need-oriented and applied research. For a student or young researcher with the dream of becoming an entrepreneur, E-YUVA is the right place to approach. The key components of this programme are Post-doctoral and Post-masters Fellowships, Mentorship, Industry Orientation and Entrepreneurship Development Training.
